For a private business they played this like the the 'professional' poltician people do making the announcement on a Friday afternoon ie hide it hope it gets lost time.

I don’t really watch a lot of professional sports anymore, but stuff like this will MAKE SURE I don’t in the future. People are tired of sports and politics becoming one.

It’s probably just natural though as sports and celebrity have reached peak saturation in our society...and need to be brought down a peg or two.

Maybe this will give pause to the myriad of other state legislatures that are seeking to change voting laws to preserve their fading grasp on political power.
