For a private business they played this like the the 'professional' poltician people do making the announcement on a Friday afternoon ie hide it hope it gets lost time.
Well this is sad to see. Can't say I'm surprised MLB caved to the woke left... Hopefully the numbers tank this year (regarding how many people watch it).

To sum it all up.....liberals are a bunch of snowflakes
The irony.

Voter suppression is bad for business. The MLB is a private corporation and under capitalism, can do what is best for its business.
Yet it's doing something self-destructive, which reminds us that it's not really a business. It's a political agent that collects money from fans of various political viewpoints and uses that centralized wealth to disrupt democracy and nullify the political power of their conservative fans.
I don’t really watch a lot of professional sports anymore, but stuff like this will MAKE SURE I don’t in the future. People are tired of sports and politics becoming one.
It’s probably just natural though as sports and celebrity have reached peak saturation in our society...and need to be brought down a peg or two.
Maybe this will give pause to the myriad of other state legislatures that are seeking to change voting laws to preserve their fading grasp on political power.
Isn't "cancel culture" a big conservative issue? I thought it was bad? Or is it only bad when it's not you?
There's no irony. You simply have no idea what cancel culture is. Cancel culture is the powerful attempting to orchestrate a large-scale (preferably universal) boycott of individuals or small businesses who have the temerity to act or speak in their own defense.
