The "estimated lost economic impact" of Major League Baseball's decision to move its All-Star Game out of Georgia over the state's voting restrictions is more than $100 million.

Nice going, Georgia!

Nice going, Georgia!
Yes, nice going, Georgia, that you are led by your elected representatives instead of by the whims of major corporations.

Nice going, Georgia!
Yep. That's why Abrams is suddenly so worried about the hell she has unleashed on her state.

Nice going, Georgia!

Nice going Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams who brought this upon Georgia with their "woke" nonsense and lies!

If you think all this is going to help Democrats in Georgia, you're out of your bloomin' mind.

Can you link to that beg?
I have read every statement she has issued and have not seen it.
She said she was “disappointed” and understood that companies would continue to boycott.
Thanks

The context you described is is that GA brought their election laws in line with the US Constitution's requirements for federal elections. The state legislature has jurisdiction over federal elections. Period.

Like I said, if you and others don't like that, you all can try to get a new US Constitutional Amendment passed to change that fact. The Constitution has been Amended many times to change what the majority thought should be changed, 27 times in fact.

You have a lot of work to do. Better get to it! Here's what it takes to Amend the US Constitution...

The MLB, economically crushing the working class and minorities. That's reprehensible.

Great post.

And let's also observe that Biden's home state of Delaware actually has much stricter voting laws than Georgia.

So why aren't the Dems up in arms about that?

Oh, right. They own that state, so no need to manufacture any fake "racism" in that particular case...

There’s working class and minorities in Tampa too. One city’s loss is another city’s win. Just like in baseball!

FL is already a Republican state.

All the Dems have done here, is move GA into the same column, even though the Atlanta Journal Contsitution - GA's biggest liberal paper - now admits the voting law actually makes it easier to vote.

Congrats!
