I think it's natural for a low wage job that sucks. And, even if a person just loves the job anyway but NEEDS THE MONEY, it's legit for it to suck to be one of the few called back to earn less.

My neighbor's daughter loves her job, is good at her job, but her reward for that was being one of the few kept on during the shout down for less days than usual. So she wasn't even earning what she usually did, as opposed to the less qualified employees getting extra money.

But if someone would have given me the same money to have more time to study, more time to sleep, more time to have fun........

It was the same in college, I had a great work ethic and always got promoted but I would have rather had parents to give me credit cards instead!

Those kids had plenty of time to devote to studying and to relax too. School is a full time job.

We still have a tremendous excess of restaurants and retail. Most people have kitchens.

Whatever the market says.

Oh, and a market means capitalism not socialism.

If they have no skills than that is all they will ever be qualified for though.

I don’t think anybody is blaming those exploiting the system. I think it is more of a sense of befuddlement that it is made so easy to do. I can guarantee you cheating the taxman takes more skill.

Are you people really this blind?

You pay for unemployment when you’re robbed at gunpoint every April 15th.

Why in the hell would you not take the money back?

Why is it that statists believe government creates wealth? It only steals it...at the end of barrel.

My sister is disabled. Has been since birth. I can afford to take care of her on my own. Do I have her on SSI, SSDI, TANF?

You bet your a$$ I do.

Why?

Because that’s my hard-earned money they’re giving her!!!!! Where in the hell do you think they got it from? The tooth fairy???

If the government said no more gat in my rib cage on April 15th but we no longer give her benefits I’d kiss Sammy right on his evil Marxist lips and bid him farewell. He’s just a middle man anyway. I already take care of her.

You folks act like we have a choice to pay taxes/unemployment/“infrastructure”.

Yeah, go ahead and try to tell that to Sammy. Bit of advice: don’t drop the soap where you’re going.

Government, by definition, is socialist.

It’s just that Republicans only think it’s socialist when a Dem is spending the money.

How many stimmies did the Orange Man “give out”?

At least some of that dough went back to a few rightful owners. When a peasant who qualified for one of their greenbacks returned I wonder if he read off the serial number and said “Oh L 5643678 V, how I’ve missed you since you were kidnapped! Welcome home!”
