Gas prices typically go up when transitioning during Spring to Summer. They peak in summer and start a decline.

I don't see that the right has denounced capitalism. But I see many left leaning posters chant "capitalism" now as if it's a good thing. They hated it before.

Lets see supply, demand, outdated refineries that shut down every time there is a strong breeze and lumber is up due to supply/demand and Trumps 24% tariff on Canadian lumber. Green new deal is not an in place policy so that has no effect and possible tax increases on the rich are not in place and have no affect on the average person.

I think this is right. Biden hasn’t influenced gas prices yet. However if his comically disastrous ideas are ever implemented you ain’t seen nothing yet. On the bright side the high price of gasoline won’t seem so bad when you can’t afford your electricity bill, or even have power on a reliable basis.

Gas prices have dropped since last month. Can't find anything that's over $3/gallon for regular.
In 2018-early 2019 it was well over $3 in PA, then it started to tank(heh).
You're not going to win running on gas prices unless we get a late 70s situation. Creepy Joe ran on anti-fracking and still won the state. DJT only won TX by 5.
The massive amount of printed money put in the economy by the radical democrats will continue to push inflation. More dollars + same amount of goods and services = higher prices.
Most people received a stimulus check during the Trump presidency and the Biden presidency.
The massive economic stimulus from the Federal Reserve started over a year ago to save the economy from a deflationary death spiral.

Lazy people sure do like to complain about prices rather than work hard and make a good living like the rest of us. My truck gets 26mpg - that's much higher than any previous truck. I'm paying much less in gasoline than I ever have.
