I think it would be silly to presume some other life form would bother to try to find us.
Earth is not a very important planet, and Sol is not an important star.
Granted, there's always a chance some advanced civilization could send out a blind search for life like we did. And the Good Lord knows we have tried just as hard as we could to get ourselves noticed.
But the laws of physics as we know them have been immutable. Those laws govern the way things fly in our atmosphere, and the reason why we can fly is because we obey and have some understanding of how those laws work.
That a saucer, a pyramid, a round ball or any other shape that does what UFOs are purported to do break those laws.
So if a civilization can do that, and send out starships through the light year separations between one star and another, why would they go looking for a civilzation that's so primitive they've only reached their closest satellite?
Why wouldn't they go looking for an civilization that was as advanced as theirs?
What can we offer them that would make us so special as to try to look us up?
I've thought of this in the past. It could be that earth is a special place, a rare planet. It could be that a planet with so much life in the skies, on its surface, its vast oceans and waterways of every type, and even deep into the ground is not as common as one might think. It could be possible these so called aliens are looking after us in some manner because earth and all of its living things is a rare bird.
There are no ships from another planet visiting ours. It's giving a voice to this type of nonsense that leads to OTHER anti-science stuff. Look around. See any?
Frankly - it's FAR MORE LIKELY that the gov't. fabricated the footage then lied to you about what's on it - than that an actual spaceship has arrived.
But it's even more likely that there's still no proof, no evidence, no ship, no aliens, no nothing - other than anecdotal accounts and blurry footage.
Bigfoot. Spaceship. Same thing. Being a pilot doesn't give you magic powers to exclude illusions from your vision.
Yea, no evidence aside from film, eyewitnesses, radar tracking, none at all, lol.
They are not illusions when multiple people and radars are tracking the object.
You think the alien/UFO instances are legit and being hidden from us since Roswell or is it all Government created spacecraft?
I think they keep dropping these little stories to gauge public reaction, I believe they know of other intelligences in the universe and want to know whether the public could handle such information.

The film is blurry. Eyewitnesses are mainly unreliable. Did you see the radar track yourself? No?
I'm saying - it's more likely someone at the pentagon would totally invent the story than that it happened. THAT is the "no evidence" I'm referring to. There are no aliens in spaceships here.
But for what it's worth - There is a MOUNTAIN more of solid data regarding COVID - and lots of people do NOT believe that at all - even though it's generated by the same people.
Only the jump drive Taybor had in his space ship would work. It jumps you anywhere in a blink of the eye.
We dont know if thats the only way or not.
We are severely limited, based on current human technological limitations....
(Think about it this way...if you had told someone living in 1700 that one day, people would have powerful computers in the palm of their hand, or the internet...they would have laughed and probably said such things are not ever possible).
Skeptics love to use the old 'distance/time' thing to justify their opinion that no aliens could ever reach earth...but in reality, they cannot know if thats accurate or not.
I think it would be great to put an end to many of these UFO conspiracy theories. Personally, I think it would like to know without a fact we aren't alone in the universe.
We should at least be able to see some evidence of alien handiwork somewhere in the cosmos but so far everything looks natural. With the James Webb space telescope hopefully launching this year, and other advanced telescopes coming on line in this decade, the chances of spotting something will greatly increase. If anyone is actually out there doing something significant that news should be coming within our lifetimes.
The distances in space are unfathomable. It would take 70,000 years for a spaceship to merely get to the nearest star from Earth. And there are a hundred billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy.
I think people grossly underestimate just how much more advanced than us an alien race would have to be to even have a shot at reaching us from a distant star system in our galaxy. If there are aliens that advanced, then they would probably have no interest in humans.

Or perhaps you merely overestimate our own level of advancement.
What if we're the ant colony of the cosmos?
