I looked through the posts and didn't see it mentioned, but it was on the news this week that whatever those UFO triangles are, they can also deactivate our nukes. Makes me think they may not be from out of this world. Pretty scary either way.
I found this CBS news story from 2010 that states this too.
You think the alien/UFO instances are legit and being hidden from us since Roswell or is it all Government created spacecraft?
The government wants to divert attention away from what they are working on and might have been spotted by the public. Pretty obvious. If there were people from outer space buzzing around they would have landed by now and made it official.
Yeah, that stuff isn't bothering anyone but us and most will degrade in orbit over time. Just those 5 things with enough velocity to escape solar orbit and potentially tick off someone else.
There are millions of planets with life but all are so far away ray that we will never get to them and they can't get to us unless they have a jump drive.
I'm thinkin' they do have some sort of "jump drive".
The craziest part about these new Govt investigations into UFOs...they are starting from scratch, when NUMEROUS military investigations were done decades ago on these things, most of the details on those projects remain classified to this day.
Why not just declassify the past findings? LOL
Even if they want to have a fresh investigation to look at them today, in the interest of transparency, the govt should still declassify all the old project details and let the public see them! There is nothing national security related, that would be applicable today, from back in the 40s or 50s. so that is not a concern.
I don't think they are starting from scratch. Maybe they want us to think that (??).... Learning about and improving on technology, be it our own or otherwise, comes with time, trial & error, wisdom and experience. Well, hopefully.
Once you realize how many stars and planets there are? Its hard to believe that there arent tens of thousands of other races.
Why is it hard to believe? What is the probability of life existing?
They estimate there are 2 trillion galaxies, and each galaxy has 100 million stars. Which is 2,000,000,000,000 * 100,000,000 = 200,000,000,000,000,000,000.
If the probability of life existing on a planet near a given star was 10^4(1 in 10,000), then there would be 20,000,000,000,000,000 planets with life. If the probability of life per star was 10^10(1 in 10,000,000,000), then there would be 20,000,000,000 planets with life. If the probability was 10^20, then there would be 2 planets with life. And so on.
You can't say, "The universe is big therefore life exists everywhere", without first knowing the odds that any life exists at all. And the people who pretend they're smart by saying such a thing are the biggest idiots of all.
Moreover, why did you use the term "race" to describe intelligent extraterrestrial lifeforms? Unlike what you might see on TV, there is a 0% chance of a human/alien hybrid.

Drake's equation only knows the number of planets, not the possibility that life exists. The answer to Drake's Equation could be anything from the total number of planets in the universe, to zero(although we know it is at least one). Or put simply, you have no idea so stop pretending you do.
