That is a falsehood.

The people I know that got it never even saw a hospital. They stayed home for a few days. They were tired, couldn’t taste or smell for a few days, but that was it. Recovered just fine and were back to normal in no time.

The death count has been over exaggerated and in the grand scheme of things has been pretty insignificant.
I don't know any sane person who would qualify nearly 600,000 deaths in the U.S. and nearly 150 million deaths worldwide as "insignificant".

But I guess since the U.S. has the most deaths of any nation on this planet, we can wave our flags and shout "We're Number One!"

Do we need to define pandemic and contagious to you? Again?

And uneducated people will believe whatever they are told, like how the educated want the vaccine.

I am 54. to put this education to use ...

there are 27MM people 50-64 (one of the more vulnerable groups).

there are 5MM cases. Thus, I had a 1 in 5 chance of testing positive for the Virus. I have been fortunate to be in the vast majority - 80% - that did not.

There have been 205,000 hospitalizations in my age group. I had a 4% chance of being hospitalized, if I tested positive. That means I was 24x more likely to NOT need hospitalization. I have 0.75% chance of being hospitalized by population, or a 99x likelihood of not being hospitalized.

there have been 66,000 deaths. That means I had a 1.3% chance of dying if I tested positive, or a 98.7% chance of NOT dying if I tested positive.. I had a 0.24% chance of dying by population, or I was 400x more likely to NOT die from Covid.

Right, an iron worker or electrician w/o a BA/BS degree is not as intelligent as an art major.

the case may be made the 53% is smarter than the higher ed group.

Red flags, government demands you take an experimental drug approved for emergency use and not fully researched and gone through the NDA NBE approval process. What?????? right out of an end of the world fantasy novel.

Before the shot, you are told the adverse event profile is incomplete.

Dumb ass pharma, holding hands with current admin, declares a study stop when a serious AE is reported. Studies are not stopped until the SAE is fully investigated.

Want to scare the bejeezus out of people. Do what the moderna and J&J idiots did. And announce the stop due to clots and deaths without any perspective and details.

The reason why they did that is because of Trump rebound to support the false and embellished democrat narrative, Trump hid the danger of covid from the people. So do the opposite! Like george costanza on Seinfeld. However, this is not supposed to be a comedy show.

The socialists have allowed their hatred of trump and the inept public relations ability of fauci to confuse the public.

Have the gov charged with covering up deaths run the governor's meeting on covid, sans VP or pres.

Tell people nothing changes once you have been vaccinated.

Then we have the government sponsored syphilis study, the model for total lack of medical ethics ever made outside of Auschwitz.

the church discouraging J&J vaccine because of embryo use.

The black activists rejecting the J&J drug because its effectiveness is lower than moderna and phizer. Claiming the poorest get the least effective drug.

then again black activists dividing the races foment lack of trust in anything the white man does.

Release thousands of infected illegal aliens into the country while being told to scale down 4th of july/ INDEPENDENCE DAY celebrations. Mind blowing, rather, existential hypocrisy created when science is corrupted by politicians

the government has politicized science into an unrecognizable, confusing and contradictory message. what conscious person in possession of the capability to think critically would step back from the government demand???

here kid, take this experimental drug, yeah it killed a few people but don't worry the statistics are on your side.

"Most if not all physicians have some sort of a relationship with industry. Physicians and industry work together and share information that drives innovation and creates better patient outcomes. Still, in working with for-profit entities a physician’s priorities and obligations—to their patients—can conflict with those of a company.

Gifts from industry can become problematic when there is an implicit or explicit ask attached to them. They can subtly, or not so subtly, encourage the physician to prescribe or recommend the company’s products, and that may not always be in a patient’s best interest.

For that reason, the AMA Code of Medical Ethics states that physicians should:
  • "Decline cash gifts in any amount from an entity that has a direct interest in physicians’ treatment recommendations.
  • Decline any gifts for which reciprocity is expected or implied.
  • Accept an in-kind gift for the physician’s practice only when the gift will directly benefit patients, including patient education, and is of minimal value."
Yes, all my friends who worked in drs, offices were sad when the drug reps stop bringing in lunch.

Smart people know that 53% is still a majority, and so a sweeping statement like yours is, well, dumb. Congrats.

Maybe if you said "Most smart people want the vaccine" and "Nearly half of dumb people don't" then you'd be at least a little more accurate. If we only define "smart" and "dumb" as level of education.
Well, technically you're right, but of course that was a generalization. A technically correct version would have been:

"Smart people want the vaccine at greater rates than dumb people."

Black and brown people are less educated and are refusing the jab more than others, showing that they're dumber than whites.
This thread is racist.

Dumb people don't want the vaccine.

Makes perfect sense.
Smart people dont follow the crowd. They do their own research to make a determination rather than listening to others.

Dumb people follow the crowd. They rely on others to tell them what they should do.

This is where all the alternative-right medical misinformation comes in, with all its potential for damage.
People not knowing which or what to believe. The orthodox medical, long term well grounded, peer reviewed studies. Or some politically motivated Youtuber suddenly showing up during the Pandemic, totally unvetted. Satisfying the listeners preset ideology.
