Maybe if you said "Most smart people want the vaccine" and "Nearly half of dumb people don't" then you'd be at least a little more accurate. If we only define "smart" and "dumb" as level of education.
Well, technically you're right, but of course that was a generalization. A technically correct version would have been:
"Smart people want the vaccine at greater rates than dumb people."
Smart people dont follow the crowd. They do their own research to make a determination rather than listening to others.
Dumb people follow the crowd. They rely on others to tell them what they should do.
This is where all the alternative-right medical misinformation comes in, with all its potential for damage.
People not knowing which or what to believe. The orthodox medical, long term well grounded, peer reviewed studies. Or some politically motivated Youtuber suddenly showing up during the Pandemic, totally unvetted. Satisfying the listeners preset ideology.
