She was cancelled for having the stones to challenge Trump's big lie. She is likely done, but it's probably a relief for her to not defend that circus anymore.

Clearly you embrace the Trump-LIE-can Party, formerly known as the GOP.

One of the few courageous, democracy defenders and truth speaking Republicans--- whom Trumpism derogatorily calls "RINOs"--- reminded me, in an opinion piece this morning, of the following quote:

“The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.” — George Orwell

Just think about this: Rep. Liz Cheney, one of the staunchest supporters of the Trump administration's agenda, is being drummed out of leadership and most likely the Republican Party, not because she has been untruthful. Rather, because she is refusing to lie.

Not a big fan of Liz Cheney. But I think it's reprehensible how the GOP ousted her for telling the truth.

I mean if you don't like her because she's a neocon, because she is a war mongerer or because her father is Darth Vader, fine. But if it's just because she is the only one willing to stand up and say the King has no clothes, when it is perfectly obvious to everyone, well......

You all haven't seen the last of Liz. She will bring trump and his puppets down!

Following trump's lies leads to a dead end.

Worship Trump or die, the new GOP mantra.

“The problem is you can't have a Republican conference chair who continually recites Democrat talking points,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), former head of the conservative House Freedom Caucus and a close Trump ally, said Tuesday night. “You can't have a Republican conference chair who takes positions that 90 percent of the party oppose."

According to The Hill, the Vote was overwhelming to kick Cheney to the curb.

how about if they just agree with the same policies Trump did?
The dirty little secret is that Trump's policies are what they(neocons/establishment) really hated all along. They were able to drum up hatred of him as a person but the reason they did it in the first place was because of his policies. Ending wars? Securing our borders? Backing out of international trade deals designed to impoverish the American worker and enrich the global elite class? That **** ain't gonna fly.

They didn't care about mean tweets and rough language, they cared that he got in their way.

This woman said horrible things about Trump......I'm not sure folks are thinking rationally here.

Aren't there better choices?
This whole thing only shows where the GOP is these days. At best they are in limbo. It’s not about this or that candidate, but what they stand for as a party. Today they voted against a true Republican (and conservative), ditching what they had been for decades. But what are they for now?

Sorry, you liberals don't get to tell us what a "true Republican (and conservative)" is. I'd worry about your own party, because it's about to get crushed in the midterms.
