He may join the Army, like Emma Malonelord. Or become a legendary actor, like Samuel L. Jackson, who was raised by his Mother. One never knows how a person may turn out. You have statistics, but people aren't statistics, and statistics don't factor in the human spirit and drive to succeed that many people have, no matter the "odds."

I remember when my kids were little and would watch this cartoon.

I always wondered "why isn't there a lesbian on this show?". I always thought it would just add that special something if there was one.

I kinda got that vibe from the character in the original series, but Nickolodeon couldn't have gotten away with it back then.

Again, was there anyone who was confused about who Betty was in the 90s?

They sacrificed a unique, strong, imposing woman (who exist) for a "typical lesbian" stereotype.

My youngest is the only one of my kids to ever watched any Rugrats and he still remembers the Hanukkah episode, which he was fascinated by.
