"Rep. Ilhan Omar slammed "constant harassment & silencing" from a group of House Democrats in an early-Thursday morning tweet as tensions among some House Democrats over her alleged anti-Semitism exploded out into the open this week.
"Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided," the group of Democrats, said of Omar. The signers of the statement included Reps. Brad Schneider, D-Ill.; Brad Sherman, D-Calif.; Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J.; Jake Auchincloss, D-Mass.; and Ted Deutch, D-Fla.
"Ignoring the differences between democracies governed by the rule of law and contemptible organizations that engage in terrorism at best discredits one’s intended argument and at worst reflects deep-seated prejudice," the group added....."
YET another example of meeting criticism with insults and questioning of one’s intelligence, rather than actually responding to the issue with a cogent and topical response.

Numerous times now, Omar has been given the green light by Democrat leadership to be antisemitic. Who cares if Jews are the victims of ever increasing hate crimes in the US. Not the dems in leadership, that's for sure.
I believe that this is all related to the blow up over Marjorie Greene's comments. Omar and many many many others have been throwing around Nazi references and making anti-semitic comments or hanging out with Farrakhan etc. for years and years.
You can't face your constituents about Greene without being asked why you've been quiet about Omar, Maxine etc. etc.
There is going to be some reckoning when the FBI hate crime stats come out for 2020 and we actually get to see whom has been attacking asians and jews etc. the constant narrative of white supremacy and things like Deblasio's hate crimes task force that won't release stats on the attackers is going to get lit up as political chicanery.

Agree, and I’ve said it before. While the liberals are singularly focused on anti-black racism, the bigotry that is actually on the increase is against Asians and Jews, and, sad to say, being committed disproportionately by blacks. It will be hard for Democrats to reconcile the disconnect unless they also start calling out the bigoted attitudes, and outright assaults, against these two minority groups at least to the extent that they declare their opposition to racism.

highly doubtful. it'll just be ignored by those that would be embarrassed by it, and that includes the dim-controlled msm. so it will go nowhere.
