What’s really funny is when a university has a large group of Chinese attending at the full tuition rate, which is a huge money maker for the school.

Can these Chinese actually speak English? Many can’t
Can these Chinese actually do the work? Many can’t

Do they all mostly graduate? Yes

How? Because they openly cheat and the professors do nothing because it’s all about the money being brought in.

I have never heard that before, and the Orientals I have run into on campuses like USC have plenty of Chinese who can speak English.

Is there any documentation or reporting of what you posted?

We're thinking of the same North Korea right? The forced labor camps that inter generations of a family to punishment for the crime of speaking against the regime? The North Korea that executes undesirable officials by anti-aircraft guns? The North Korea that kills members of the ruling dynasty in foreign airports using nerve gas?

Come on man.

What is it you guys always say, if she doesn't like it, she can go back to North Korea. Right?

It's hard to imagine living in the USA, one of the freest nation's on earth, and actually yearning to be a slave... But that's exactly what a fair number of people here want... Not only for themselves, but for every other free thinking American citizen. They believe it is somehow in our best interest to go backwards, instead of forward.

Not even going to delve into what that is supposed to mean. Those are just the facts.

But I can't help but entertain the possibility that those backwards thinking people somehow imagine they will be the slave drivers. Of course, rational thinking people know how that would work out...

USA university is nearly as bad as North Korea

That is simply her singular opinion amplified by Fox News, and regurgitated on this thread. It means nothing.

The statement "She says students are being taught what to think instead of how to think" is a longstanding problem in America's education system. How does a student get accepted into college if they do not know how to think? Students should go to college to learn, not to be taught...spoon fed. But that is what we have. If they are to learn something, they need to teach themselves using whatever resources and tutelage and coaching they can get. They have to have some motivation. College professors are often appalled at the students' readiness and foundational knowledge. They end up leading them around by the nose hoping they absorb something.

This from a woman who escaped North Korea and attended a university in USA. She says students are being taught what to think instead of how to think, they hate USA about as much as North Korea, and she sees this as warning signs of USA going from a nation founded on freedom to a communistic nation.
Go Woke Go Broke.

Princeton has just fallen to 20th in the QS International University rankings 2022.

Princeton, had one of the largest drops of an institution near the top, falling eight spots, whilst Harvard, Caltech, Cornell and Duke also experienced significant drops, with international rivals moving up.

Cornell is now not even in the top 10, with Columbia only scrapping in at 19, whilst Duke doesn't even make the top 50, for the first time in the rankings history.

There was some good news for the US, with The University of Pennsylvania and Yale University each moving up three spots to No. 13 and No. 14, respectively.

I have to admit though Princeton are really going for it, perhaps they can even fall out of the Top 50 if they really go woke.

MIT still No. 1, but U.S. universities fall in world rankings -University Business
