But it is irrelevant re answering Pilot1’s question (essentially, why is Trump in the heads of his critics).

The answer is because we have the opposite view....that Trump should have been convicted, and then the separate vote should have been taken, and passed, to bar him from Federal office. We (Trump critics of all political stripes) don’t want him to be President again. He should be in our heads until we can breathe a sigh of relief by either watching someone else get the 2024 R nomination, which watching him lose the 2024 general election (pray for a stronger than Democrat third party candidate), or by nature taking care of it, whichever comes first.
