NFL Releases Powerful Video 'FOOTBALL IS GAY'

The NFL is making it clear it stands firmly with the LGBTQ+ community ... releasing a powerful video Monday that featured the message, "Football is gay."

The clip, which is 30 seconds in length, added, "Football is lesbian. Football is beautiful. Football is *****. Football is life."

The messages didn't stop there ... they even went on to say, "Football is transgender" and "Football is bisexual" -- before the video ended with, "Football is for everyone."

To me - all of this is about hurting America. At the end of the day, the people pushing the buttons are trying to wreck the NFL because it generates so much money and business not only for the teams, but the surrounding businesses of food, gifts, hotels & travel, clothing, etc.

It's just another shot to try and take out the country one industry at a time.

If the dude just came and played, and oh by the way - he's gay, there would be little fanfare. Just do your job and play to win. But the strategy from the enemies is to rub everyone's face in this stuff and make it distasteful, and cause division. I guess BLM didn't work, so this is next.
Football is deviant.

Yep....the NFL will die - by their own hand....unless Trump knocks some sense into them. He's the only one who could do it, but they don't deserve his help. They deserve to die.

trump is irrelevant. That thing has no influence at all. And you will continue to watch NFL, as well as all the other whiners on here.

Good advice though about leaving folks alone... if everyone would follow it (aka, "physician heal thyself!").
Show me where corporations create products celebrating anything remotely conservative and them you’d have a point.

This is a short list of just some of the corporate attention given to pride month:

Audible: celebrating “queer” voices in literature during June
Bath and Body Works: created “Love Always Wins” in rainbow color packaging for Gay Pride month
Coca Cola: raised rainbow flag at company headquarters in Atlanta
Olay: rainbow packaging on face creams
Lego: “everyone is awesome” rainbow set
Skittles: pride packs, because “only one rainbow matters during pride month”
Disney: rainbow collection apparel
Mattel: UNO play with pride collection
Pet Smart: pride pet clothing (this one is is really ironic)
Doc Martens: rainbow pride shoes
Vans: rainbow pride shoes
Apple, Amazon Music, Spotify: pride play lists

Additionally, there is TV programming, parades, and commercials.

There is simply nothing like this for conservative ideals.

I mean, what are even conservative ideals? To deny gays the right to marry each other? To deregulate industry to destroy the environment? To denigrate poor people? To live by greed? To force women to procreate & then leave them & their forced births to die on the street? To hold dearly to their assault weapons above all else? I mean, what stellar ideals they have.

Maybe because homophobia isn't a revenue generator? If it was, you can bet corporate America would be capitalizing on it. Many of these companies waving the rainbow for pride donate to anti-gay politicians.

You do have Chick Fil-A, Hobby Lobby, and Pureflix promoting conservative beliefs.

Not promoting homosexuality as the human ideal does not equal homophobia.

OP said this was being shoved in our faces and it is...by corporations.

It’s not about generating revenue; it’s about fundamentally changing the United States. Instead of asking why this is being shoved in our faces, you just keep reiterating your made up nonsense about Republicans.

I know why June was chosen as pride month. However it is not lost on me that June used to be promoted as the month for weddings...kind of interesting how that has been eliminated now.

Geez, folks can't even let one marginalized group of people have a month to themselves without whining.

How about a deck of UNO cards with an oil spill pictured on them?
Or maybe Doc Martens with an image of a Glock on the toes?
A "no-gays-allowed" parade?

What are conservative ideals, anyway?

Oh, bullcrap. This paranoia from the right wing is getting to be beyond stupid.

No one is asking you to change. No one is taking anything away from you. Allowing someone to have a piece of pie does not mean you get none.

People are no longer getting married in June? You can't do both?

Does that mean we can't celebrate Mother's Day and Memorial Day in the same month?

Yea right. The NFL has 105 billion coming in over the next 10 yrs in TV revenue alone.

These are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Whoever is sponsoring the NFL is estimating that it will remain sufficiently viable that they'll earn back more than the $105 billion that they're putting into it. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. Time will tell.
