What do you mean, oops? They are Moors. Not blacks. You don't know the difference?
Difference? Between a Moor and a Black person? Ummm, physically there is no difference. The term 'Moor" is not even in any widespread use any more. It's an historical name for N African Black Muslims. So I suppose Somalis could be called "Moors." So how is it they ae "not Blacks?" Religion and culture does not change skin tone.
Saying "they are Moors, not Blacks" is like saying "they are Christians, not Whites." Perhaps there is something I'm missing here that is being taught at some higher level of education than I have obtained but what I have learned from countless hours of devouring books since I was quite young who and what the "Moors" were/are is just what I have said. "Moor" denotes culture and religion and the Moors were Black. I have not seen the term "Moor" used in modern context. It was a Crusades era term.
However if I am indeed missing something here perhaps you will enlighten me? I am after all just a poor very rural ranch born and raised guy and spent much of my life looking at life between a horse's ears. I have however read many volumes of historical fiction and non fiction which the Moors were a part and as I said, physically a "Moor" and a "Black" person are one in the same. Please do share if there is something I have been remiss in understanding.
That being said, I don't know exactly what laws these men stand accused of violating. Other than failure to cooperate with police, evading arrest/detaining and such. And of course to many minds since they were armed that is a crime in and of itself. But it does not say anywhere exactly how they were armed. Their weapons my possibly be quite legal. But they were armed and have a non mainstream ideology so they just HAVE to be bad people.
As far as I can see here they seemed to be well within their rights as American citizens to believe as they see fit and to keep and bear arms. I am quite curious to see how this case shakes out.

Any extremist group can easily get their hands of firearms and cause havoc. The US has become more dangerous than Somalia! Congrats NRA supporters. Those with the biggest and most firearms will rule and it wont by you.
