On the Fourth of July, while Americans celebrate their independence, "Squad" member and Congresswoman Cori Bush claimed on Twitter that black Americans are not free.
"When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they're referring to is for white people," wrote Bush.
"This land is stolen land and Black people still aren't free," she added.
US blacks can become the US president or the US Vice president. Which European, Asian or other Western nations have their citizen voters done this?
I never understand how Democrats keep allowing their elected representatives to make them out to be poor set upon victims. It's demeaning and insulting.
I remember when Hilary Clinton said "Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat."
She's a victim of her own propaganda. In her eyes, blacks are out in the middle of the cotton fields. That's the era, in her mind, she still lives within. The south hasn't seceded. Civil War hasn't been fought. Six hundred thousand federal soldiers didn't die freeing the slaves. There haven't been amendments to the Constitution outlawing slavery. None of that has happened.
Black people aren’t free? Your district hasn’t had a white representative in over 50 years. You, a black woman, went from being a nurse to being elected to one of the highest offices in the country. How much more freedom are you looking for?

Why aren't they celebrating how far they have come....doctors, movie stars, lawyers, CEO's, athletes, presidents, congressmen, senators, judges...etc etc on and on....and just normal successful people going on about their business

It's not a color thing....it's a class thing....and they want higher class people to accept that black trash as normal
If African Americans aren't free, then democrats and especially Joe Biden deserve all the blame. They are in power. Cori Bush needs to take up her complaints with them.
In other words, to you, blacks are all as stupid as Congresswoman Cori Bush. That sounds like what CRT complains about.
Only the ones who believe they're oppressed.
