Astrology had been used for thousands of years for agriculture/farming, and is still used for that purpose (and was probably used by tribes who migrated). I don't believe in it for any other reason than for agriculture/farming and from what I gather most Christians feel the same.

There are many people who hold strong religious beliefs and make predictions based on such, and history has shown that sometimes they are right. Most political upheaval and chaos can be traced to religion.
