Correction: the voters have the final say on who gets to spend our imaginary money.

As much as Trump threw money at Covid related problems, the voters decided they wanted more and they wanted the handouts to be permanent.

Yes, both parties suck donkey balls, but it's the voters that demand the spending.

Yes, ultimately it's the voters who are responsible. They keep us as a two party system despite the atrocious performance of both parties

It does seem noticeably calmer now. It’s probably a good thing when cable news ratings are down, that means people aren’t so obsessed with politics. I mean, it’s tough for them but good for the country.
