We know have a variant of Covid which is now spiking in different areas in the United States.

It is now the predominant strain . It's origin is from India. It has been found to spread much quicker than the last strains we have had. It is said to spread much faster and can infect someone else within 5 to to 15 seconds.

I don't want to alarm anyone but I do wish to inform everyone that this variant is much more contagious .

It used to take 15 minutes of exposure to pass from one to another to infect them. Now just a few seconds and it can be passed. We should take this information and apply it to stay safe. I wish everyone to stay healthy and get through this pandemic and hope it ends soon.

Yep, I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces that have it and are almost over it. Definitely spreading again.

By the time the zulu-variant comes around, a 6th booster-shot will be needed.

If the Covid was contagious and the new Delta version is even worse then I shudder to think what the next variant, the "echo", is going to bring. We will catch it simply be reading about it!

This covid stuff is never going to end. Is there any doubt we will be masking up and closing business's again this Fall?

I hope they all do well. I know that most of the children are not affected as with the worst cases. The older people are very much more at risk.

The problem is we have opened borders and it will still infect those who are vaccinated as well. Some of the much older crowd can get sick even when fully vaccinated so I want everyone's business to stay opened but protect themselves because of this high transmission rate. I wish this thing would end.

Once infected there is no turning back.. it will progress into a mild or bad case in time.

It's not going to end. Can't you see that ? It's mutating like the flu does. And vaccines don't prevent you from catching it.

It's more contagious but they don't know if it's more deadly.
