Trump was a miserable failure on virus response. That's why you have people like Fauci who were much more the trusted face of the virus response, at least to the sane majority (I do realize the former guy holdouts don't acknowledge Fauci or legitimate science) but the end result is that for those who understand science and are vaccinated COVID is no longer a threat. To the others, it's gonna get worse. Maybe that is just God separating the wheat from the chaff. Who knows.
