The new coronavirus variant "mu" is not at the moment posing a great risk to Americans, according to White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.
"We’re paying attention to it, we take everything like that seriously, but we don’t consider it an immediate threat right now," Fauci said Thursday during a White House COVID response news briefing.
"This variant has a constellation of mutations that suggests that it would evade certain antibodies, not only monoclonal antibodies, but vaccine- and convalescent serum-induced antibodies," Fauci said. "But there isn’t a lot of clinical data to suggest that, it is mostly laboratory in-vitro data."
He has to start talking about this because the CDC and FDA told the White House to cool their jets on booster shots until they investigate the data further.
They are going to milk this to the very last drop, and then they will try to milk it some more.
That's right. They are still getting a lot of mileage out of 'Delta changes everything.' They're working on a branding campaign for Mu. Should be ready this winter for the Northeast lockdowns.
That f ing scumbag should have slunk out of the media spotlight the minute those emails became exposed.
The shameless media and shameless fauci himself have far too much hubris to not fall on the proverbial sword.
