With respect, using the term 'him' when talking to a trans woman is going out of the way to offend the person. It takes no effort to use the correct pronoun. There was a time it was thought being left handed was unnatural. Sooner rather than later considering trans people mentally ill will be as silly as thinking being left handed is 'wrong'.

The correct pronoun is Him. There will never be a time when honest people consider a person with a penis is a woman. Sooner or later, the bastardisation of language will end and people will stop pretending gender and sex are different things. That was the first step this cohort needed to successfully start arguing gender is chosen.

The correct pronoun is whatever the individual wants to be called. Times are changing. This shift is similar to how times changed when being left handed stopped being considered 'unnatural'.
I understand a number of people disagree with this. That doesn't change the reality of today.
