I have very seldom seen that flag flown anywhere recently. The flag you think is the Confederate flag is actually the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia:



Meanwhile, the political Left is downright stupid, largely now considering the very banner under which the slaves were liberated to be a symbol of racism, bigotry and fascism. If you are willing to acknowledge the obvious fact that all Biden voters are and were Autoritiarian Marxists intent on Revolution, destroying the government and all systems, and then building their Marxist Utopia from the ashes -- well then maybe it's true that everyone who voted for Trump is a Confederate Flag waving Boomer. But otherwise, can we just acknowledge that taking a tiny minority of a group of people and assuming that everyone else is exactly like them is insanely stupid.

I think the store owner is a fool (even if something may be factually correct, that doesn't mean it should be said from where I stand), but I am also not in the business of confronting people over speech. And certainly not if I'm in a position of power as it can be seen as an abuse of power.
