Generally nope. Especially not in the case of Texas. It's all a matter of COL, home ownership, and job opportunities more than anything else.
Plenty of jobs in Texas, and the cost of living is markedly lower than California. If you're in aerospace or the tech industry, Texas is a good place to be.
That writer needs to get over his issues with the White population decline and stop taking his anger out on Black people, most of whom don’t care to jump on the anti-Hispanic bandwagon. Black Americans have always been on their own and therefore, are not bothered by what is going on with other populations. Black Caribbean people, not “Caribbeans†as he states, also generally don’t care - whether we are Hispanic or not.
Literally, based on reading the whole article, the author got bullied by some Black kids in school, so he's banking on the Latino growth to push Black people away in a revenge fantasy type of way.
I know Black people who live and work in Los Angeles and they would laugh at the idea of getting "pushed out" by Latinos. It's a free market and those who have the financial means to stay in LA will do so, regardless of demographics.
Ditto for my Dad's side of the family in Texas. I have relatives out there in Houston, San Antonio, and DFW who live in MAJORITY HISPANIC neighborhoods and have zero problems. If they're getting "displaced", the Hispanic communities there are doing a very terrible job at it.
For the most part, if you have a good job opportunity and financial means to stay in an area, no demographic shift is going to do anything to you unless the individual isn't fond of the people moving in.

In MN, generally yes.
No one in their right mind would move here considering our winter weather. Yet the state gets "darker" by the day (to the glee of cultural marxists everywhere).

I'm referring to Blacks leaving Los Angeles to "flee" Latinos. Many of them move to areas that have plenty of Latinos like Houston, Phoenix, San Bernardino, Riverside, Las Vegas, Dallas, etc.

And Section 8 is a big part of that. Gentrification, and all that...
Blacks don't need to jump on the anti-Hispanic band wagon they need to show their respect for our immigration laws by jumping on the anti-illegal alien band wagon. Learn to know the difference!

Yesterdays daily informed me of the more than 100+ businesses that have relocated to Texas in the last year.
After the fires, no telling who will be left in Ca.
