Are you suggesting Biden’s plan was remotely thought out? There’s 10K trapped Americans and 6K troops on a tarmac who largely beg to differ.

Well Joke Biden has now armed more terrorists!
Because it’s intentional.

These guys (or their handlers) know exactly what they’re doing.

Yes Biden administration did not anticipate the President and the Afghan army abandoning their posts...not sure anybody did....but it easy to pretend that someone else may have been able to predict.

As for leaving behind stuff........we have no confirmation of what is left, what was agreed to be left based on previous agreements with the Afghans (not just Biden made the deal with the Afghan).

Trump on Sunday expressed support for pulling U.S. military forces out of Afghanistan, calling a withdrawal "wonderful and positive," but pushed back on the September target.
Mr. Trump said he believes the U.S. should leave Afghanistan earlier and took credit for laying the groundwork for American troops to leave the country before September 11, the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that launched the U.S. into its longest war.

Trump laid the groundwork --maybe it wasn't laid well and that was Biden's mistake right? Maybe he relied on Trump's groundwork too much.

Can’t wait for Biden’s cultists to come in here with their predictable “but but but but Trump”

Not the current Commander in Chief with like 100 years as a politician (that includes 8 years as VP) who voted to invade Astan and Iraq 20 years ago

There is. It's called not blabbing your military plans to the enemy.

OK, but the "plan" doesn't seem to be working very well.

My plan would have included getting non-combatants out first, then making sure we don't supply the enemy with billions upon billions of dollars worth of military hardware and weaponry.

Only after those two goals are fully realized would I remove the last of our military.

Biden did #3 first.

Because he did #3 first, he can't do #1, and #2 is already in Taliban hands.

Maybe this will help...

I don't think Biden's plan included the President and the Afghan army (which was much bigger than the Taliban) abandoning their posts. That is correct. But I'm not sure any administration would have anticipated that.

True there has to be a huge shift in the plan given the President fleeing and the army disbanding...that wasn't the plan.

I suspect Trump's plan did not have that scenaior built in either.

So yes chaos...but in the last week they have pivoted and tried to work with the chaos created by the actions of the Afghans and the Taliban.

It isn't ideal --- and history will tell if all the Americans get out safely.
