They fire hospital staff then complain that they don't have enough workers. *Suddenly* staff is somehow a superspreader. When all of them survived this *deathly* pandemic that has killed what 50% of the population? No. Not even close.

A Republican official who opposed coronavirus vaccines, and tried to block certification of President Joe Biden's election win, died after being hospitalized with COVID-19.
The New York Times reported that William Hartmann's sister said he had been hospitalized with the disease, writing on Facebook before his death that he was "in ICU with Covid pneumonia and currently on a ventilator."
Gustavo Portela, a communications director for the Michigan GOP, confirmed Hartmann's death, The Detroit News reported. He was 63.
He was rather vocal on social media with many of the same anti-vaccine talking points we see here on City Data

I think we can't post links, but there's a section of Reddit called "Herman Cain Award" that posts tons and tons of social media post threads from anti-vaxers who later die from covid. It's extremely sad how brainwashed these folks were. The worst ones are those that contain videos of people gasping and hacking away behind oxygen masks saying, "I still will never get the vaccine," followed up a week or two later with a post from a family member stating their loved one died.
I've been following that subreddit for some time now. It's terribly sad. What's interesting is the pattern - they almost all have the same tired memes posted to their social media profiles, which they believe are terribly clever but really only makes them look like unhinged conspiracy theorists, then they get hospitalized, then the family posts requests for "prayer warriors" and the gofundme pops up, and then they are confirmed dead.
Just recently saw a mother of seven children, yesterday she was still alive but she had most of her intestines and colon removed due to sepsis, is most likely brain dead due to extended hypoxia, but they keep trying to extend her "life" when really all they are doing is prolonging her agonizing death.
It's terribly sad that a young mom of seven children will leave them to fend for themselves because she was firmly a pro-COVID deather.
This guy has died. Only 30 with 3 kids. Such an unnecessary waste of life.
He probably didn’t actually die of COVID-19. He probably went to the hospital for a bad case of dandruff, and only had a mild case of COVID and tested positive. But the government counted it as a COVID death, because it’s all a conspiracy or something.

I don't get why anyone thinks someone dying AND still being against the vaccine is incongruent.

Then when they end up in hospitals and the ICU the families harass the medical staff demanding vaccinations, ivermectin, while they say prayers and insist God is going to cure their loved one or the loved one is so strong they will recover given enough time. They drag on for weeks and weeks because the family simply can't accept that they are only "alive" because they are attached to twenty different machines and drips and if the nurse pulls the plug, they will be dead in 30 seconds. They lose weight till they look like skeletons, have no brain function from hypoxia, have bed sores, bleed from their mouths and anuses because their livers are shot and finally die.
THAT is the reality for thousands each week who refuse vaccination.
Do you EVER ask for the Advanced Health Care Directives - the ones that might say "no invasive procedures," and "call hospice for pain management?"
Or do you just play got and rip their throats open and put them on vents so you can smugly watch them suffer?

Why they say it is COVID? To get the bills paid by the federal government when the person is uninsured. Why the heck do you think that all the illegals have COVID when they go to the emergency room? No insurance. COVID? Yes. Feds pick up bill!
