The coordination with allies is a fair criticism, other than that I don't see how this could have been done any better other than getting the civilians out sooner. Still hard to believe this many civilians were there in August, maybe they had some misguided faith in the Afghan military.

On top of that, a teacher rescued dozens of young girls by flying to the Mideast. They were marked to die for being educated while female, by the Taliban.
Military in Dunkirk was evacuated by civilian boats, I don't think we want to use that as a model.

After the planes hit in Lower Manhattan there was no threat to the surrounding area from additional attacks.

Beats JB's MO, in which I truly fear (not just play on words) "heads will roll".

Now do I think a capable Commander in Chief would have performed 50x better in getting US citizens and allies out? YES. YES. YES.

Biden has been Ted Baxter at the role.

PS: Brits and French were in neighborhoods, not just Kabul, rescuing their people. Perhaps they can train Biden's folks on how to do that. Brits rescued WaPo reporters, who are US citizens. Shazam!

We didn't lose in Afghanistan. We withdrew. We could argue semantics on that if you like, but calling it a loss vs. a withdrawal doesn't change the fact that it was bungled badly. You don't pull troops out without removing civilians and removing advanced military equipment first,or you end up giving the enemy hostages and weapons. Which is exactly what the demented fool in the White House and his incompetent crew did.

Now we have a press secretary that is actively lying to the public about the situation and it's looking more and more likely that Biden will allow the Taliban to either push us out on August 31 or pay them off to get our people back.

I believe this is what will happen and it will be expensive.
