Correct, you can't unring a bell, but you can obviously rescind an award like this. They did it. They won't be the last and they aren't first.

the emmy people are probably the sort that aren't even embarrassed by this whole fiasco, as they very much should be.

That being said, what Cuomo did is relatively tame compared to what a bunch of Hollywood types have done and they still have their emmy's. Kevin Spacey has a pile of them.

It's also good not to forget that Cuomo had a woman in his cabinet that helped cover for him while being one of the top people of a "womens group", so it's always appropriate to question whom various rights organizations are targeting or giving a pass too out of political design.

that's only accurate if you completely ignore the thousands upon thousands of old folks he subjected to premature deaths
