You have to understand that threads can get buried by prolific discussions in other threads. Your post did help to bump it up though. Thank you.

May they rest in peace and prayers for their family.
For that I'll give you a thumbs up and TY for respecting our military!

Probably most.
You know there is always some negative nelly that has to spoil a sincere thread - Well done - does wonders for your reputation.

It makes me so angry that these brave young people offer their lives for their country, and their country is so cavalier with that precious gift. There is plenty of blame to go around in that department - this recent debacle is just the latest in a long chain of bad and immoral decisions in Afghanistan. These 13, and many others, should never have been sent there in the first place.

This is personal for me, my friend. Very personal. It’s bad enough when young lives are destroyed by enemy combatants in the midst of armed conflict. I doubt you understand the true angst, but it is even more painful when they are lost due to a glaringly incompetent order given in which well understood precautions are thrown out the window to create an easy to identify political talking point.

They were just babies, most young enough to still be covered by their parents insurance if they hadn’t been serving their nation. Don’t you dare cheapen their sacrifice.

Thank you for saying their names.
We need to do this for everyone who has lost their lives. Talk about the people they were. I went to a local distillery where Daryl Worley was at and he was saying the same thing. When he sang his song "Have You Forgotten" I collapsed in a field and cried.
DOL and Til Valhalla!

This is both heartbreaking and infuriating. Infuriating because of Biden's action.

Rylee McCollum got married this year and his widow is expecting their first child.

May these soldiers all RIP.

I feel the most for her. A fellow Gold Star wife was also expecting when her husband was killed. Bless her for going through this horrid time while pregnant. I seriously want to wrap my arms around her and just hold her.
