Seriously, though, that's quite an assumption to make, unless you have a bona fide large collection. I track mine with software I purchased for the task. The spreadsheet started to become unmanageable. Do you have more guns than that?
I have enough guns... more than 10 less than twenty, but I have lots and lots of ammo. However I would like a Barret .416 for my birthday. That will be 'enough'.

You know that threads have topics, don't you?

Or are you just in "abortion" mode right now, finding a reason to inject it into everything you talk about?

Being obsessed to the point of seeing a thing in every other thing is suggestive of something going goofy in your mind, btw. Might want to back off of social media for a while.
They are both top-of-the-platform issues that are quite polarizing. I don't do social media other than C-D. I was just answering the question according to my opinion. No intention to trigger you or hijack the thread.

ETA: BTW, the last time I posted on abortion was back in June. I checked. Perhaps you're mistaking me for someone else.

I have no impression of you other than your off-topic contribution to this thread. I responded to that post, and that post alone.

Given our government's track record on drugs, I'm sure whatever gun controls they put in place will fail spectacularly.

Criminals will get their guns somewhere regardless, it's not like they're shopping for assault weapons on Amazon. We have like a 2000+mile border with a hopelessly corrupt country that's governed by drug cartels. No way we can keep guns out of the country.

Mutually Assured Destruction seemed to have worked with the Soviets/Russians for the past 70 years though.

All guns will never be banned regardless of the foolishness spread by right-wingers and the corrupt gun lobby. The gun-fondling fanatics will keep making ridiculous claims and keep convincing dumbs**t state legislators to remove existing safeguards and tracking requirements until the federal government acts to rein in the foolishness and return to some form of rational policies.

This is another useless poll because it's too general. You make no distinction, for instance, between what people may "want" and what they realistically expect or hope for. You make no distinction between a system with stringent requirements and fees versus the free-for-all that the NRA wants to promote. And any use of "all" means you'll get inaccurate results, since you're lumping owners of one handgun for protection or one hunting rifle together with people who stock up in a big way.

Background checks required for purchasing firearms is not only unconstitutional, its not practical...

Per the law in the US, once a person fully completes their sentence, they can no longer be referred to as a 'felon'...so background checks would have to automatically remove convictions after the sentence is completed, that seems like it would take a lot of work to keep track of, considering how many people there are!

I can tell you for certain I don't have nearly as big an imagination as you do. Nor will I ever be as important as you seem to think you are.
