I’m always guilty of looking above the Democrats and Republicans. It’s really the oligarchs that want guns removed for obvious reasons. Guns and religion are the two things the 1 percenters have a tough time winning. The oligarchs run the get ride of guns campaign thru the liberals because they are much more malleable and not overly difficult to influence.
The gun issue crosses party lines more than most issues do, and while many try to make the division about political parties, it's not.
When it comes to actual Biden supporters, those who support HIS policies specifically, yes. I think they probably do. But I don't really think that's precisely what you were asking.
I think (correct me if wrong) you were asking more about people who voted for him, most of which were voting against Trump, not for Biden.
Those people just sway in the wind. They don't "want" to ban guns today, but if The Narrative started pushing for a full-on ban, most would jump on board. They just do as they're told. As Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC famously said on live TV, "[Our job is to] control exactly what people think," and that's what they do. They control what people think.
I truly believe that if people understood what guns actually were at more of a philosophical level, along with some fundamentals of individual liberty, a lot less of them would support the same restrictions they currently support. People promote the idea that they're free and support freedom and then turn around and demonstrate that they don't even understand what that means.
No assault style weapons like the AR-15
No high capacity magazines or bump stocks
Universal Background checks and then should have to register it like you do a car.
