She's not touching Biden's Afghan debacle with a 10' pole. She wants nothing to do with it. That way there won't be any soundbites, comments, speeches, etc... to drag her down with when she is campaigning to be POTUS in two years.
Too late for that. She's already said she was the "last person in the room" - meaning she fully supported Biden's abandonment plan. It could be that Biden's still lucid enough not to want her around laughing at everything concerning Afghanistan.

When someone is a hollow-head like Kamala is, there's no net benefit to putting her in a situation that further exposes her lack of intellect. While she may undoubtedly hate Joe Biden, he likely hates her worse. She's too ignorant to know that she's been chosen as a token. I would imagine that whomever is manipulating Joe Biden behind the scenes is the same one that decided to cancel any and all public appearances by this cackling fool.

Plausible deniability on her part. She can claim she wasn't for what he'd done, tjat she wasn't in on any of it...even though she'd previously said she's the last to leave.
No, and honestly he doesn't need to. Every time the President (regardless of who it is) goes anywhere, let alone a disaster site, he creates havoc - the airport is shut down, highways are shut down - it's just a mess. Maybe they go too far with security, but that's the way it is. I can't stand Biden, but I think he's making his optics Ida tour to Mississippi as I type, well out of the terrible damage area but close enough to show "I care". That's all he needs to do, other then provide relief in the form of money and supplies. And now he has the Northeast that has similar issues and needs because of the flooding spawned by Ida.
I’m not worried about Harris. I do worry about Pence. Last I heard he and ‘mother’ were living in a basement or were homeless. He seems to have fallen down a well.
Well, at least he didn't laugh much when he was heading up the Covid team (well, he may have grinned a little when Trump suggested injecting Purex - or maybe it was a grimace). I'm sure Harris would find a laugh a day if Biden had put her in charge.
Will Cain outlines well as to what's likely really goin on suggesting she was "used" on the Biden presidential ticket, but is now a liability to the administration.
"If I’m Kamala Harris right now, I’m extremely offended because you have been used," he said. "They used you to pander to a voting base to get votes.
They had a minority, they had a woman and now that they don’t need her, they have shelved her because her approval rating is -19."
Cain said that it’s not a secret when Harris is out front, she’s a "liability" to the administration even though she wasn’t a liability to Biden on the ticket.
"Kamala has a right to be very, very upset," he said. "But the Biden administration is in a very tough position. Do we admit that we used Kamala to get elected, or do we run her back out and hurt our numbers the way hers have plummeted?"
I'm sure she was well aware that she was being used (Biden said he was going to pick a black female), but her desire to ride on the coattails and probably become President by default far outweighed her reluctance to be used. I doubt many voted Democrat because there was a blace woman on the ticket - they voted against Trump. They, and some Republicans, would have voted for Putin if he'd been the Democrat nominee.

First, I have no idea who Jamaica is supposed to be (if that's even supposed to be a person). And you can't just put this down to "race BS." It was decided ahead of time that the VP position would only be offered to someone who met the racial (black) and gender (female) requirements.
And she's not particularly smart. If she were, she wouldn't break into a nervous cackle all the time rather than answer a question intelligently.
