All those people cheering on Trump’s tweets last year now want to make all kind of excuses for the ones that participated on January 6th.
the vast, overwhelming majority destroyed nothing whatsoever.
nice try, though.

Who is making excuses?

Most, the vast majority on here, who are Trump supporters have stated that those who had committed crimes on Jan 6 should be charged. It is the majority of those on the left are the ones who are making excuses...for antifa blm.

You're comparing apples to oranges to get your "Aha it's a conspiracy" theory. Maybe next time the low information MAGA crowd will think twice (but I bet they won't).

And this is in no way to make an excuse for the BLM/ANTIFA clowns, it's simply stating that you are comparing different levels of crime and different sets of laws and prosecutors. State's rights, remember?
Why is five months of violence against ordinary citizens, ignored or outright supported by Democrat officials deemed insignificant compared to the Capitol riot? Is it because they are just ordinary citizens?

It’s really infuriating that the people that that burned down US cities after the Floyd incident are being treated differently than the people who breached the capital. No equal justice here.

It is pretty sad that you pretend a single Target got looted. Don't enable insurrection. You don't care about insurrection, you care if the wrong people do it.
Again, to comparisons, you are saying that rioting at a courthouse is insurrection, but what happened on January 6 was not? Even though the highest ranking members of federal government were on site and the goal was to "stop the steal"? These are your half baked arguments.

People were arrested and charged in the courthouse riot, so I'm not sure what your argument is, really.

Either you support law enforcement and our judicial system or you don't. You can't cherry pick and say "well it's not ok to riot in Portland or break into Target, and then in the next sentence say what happened at the Capitol was a misunderstanding.

It doesn't work that way.

It's not a matter of making it better, it's state's rights. The clowns from January 6 decided to break into the seat of our nation's government, with the #2 on down the line in attendance. Not the brightest group, there.

Had they simply busted in a Target I don't think we'd be having any of these conversations. I think the fact that up until this point the red hatted crowd fancied themselves as fans of "law and order" is the icing on the cake and why these clowns are the laughing stock of the country.

There's some irony that these people wanted to record themselves because they "thought" they were patriots - in the end all of that footage gave law enforcement exactly what they needed to hunt down these morons.

Call it unfair, call it politics...at the end of the day, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. These people knew what they were doing was wrong.

That a good point (Capitol police letting protesters into the building).

Have any of those policemen been arrested as co-conspirators? And if not, why not?

People who didn't do any damage inside have been arrested, so why do the police get a pass?
