We'll see. The Terminator and Reagans record in California weren't exactly conservative. It would be nice to see an actual conservative.

Altogether, 23 billionaires have donated to a California gubernatorial candidate, according to a search of the California Secretary of State’s Cal-Access Campaign Finance database. Of those, 19 have backed Newsom, donating a combined $5.7 million....
..
Ten billionaires in tech —including DoorDash cofounders Andy Fang and Stanley Tang and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt — have also donated to Newsom. New York hedge fund tycoons George Soros and Jim Simons are the only billionaire Newsom donors who live outside of California.

The recall could have been a success if it had remained non-partisan. Newsom should be booted out.

Then Larry Elder says that if he becomes governor, and Feinstein retires, he will appoint a Republican and flip the US Senate.

As you can imagine that mobilized all the Democrats to vote no on the recall.

Hope it happens. We got rid of Gray Davis. I'd love to see what Larry Elder could do.

Of course, like Arnold, he'll have to deal with all the money pouring into the leftist unions to fight him every step of the way.

Well you got Biden, Kamala, allegiedly Soros above

all showing up to 'support Newsom'

if you can't smell that... I guess Covid took out your nose

It has ALWAYS been the function of a minority political party (in the case of 2021 California I'm talking about Republicans)
to oppose the majority party. When the odds are against you, you dont roll over and expose your soft underbelly and cry "there's nothing nothing we can do! Its all a waste of time!"

in order to qualify for the Recall, 1.8million people signed the petition, out of 22 million registered voters. That's 12%. 12% of people said "no, let's put it to a vote".

You must always do the right thing. It's the only way democracy can work.

What's funny is Democrats running a spoiled rich white man against a Transgendered and a Black Conservative.

They know he's corrupt. They know he's useless and hurts the state. But they will vote for him anyway just because he's a Dem.

Funny how a middle aged white dude is fine when he has the correct lefty message. Not so worried about diversity as much in that case.

Here's your answer:

In 2016, the Democratic-controlled California legislature made it so that anyone could return ballots, and there's no limit on how many ballots they can return.

He'll probably be in the same boat as Arnold if he gets elected. Arnold couldn't break through all of the bureaucracy and democrat strong holds.

He even said as much a few years ago, he said couldn't get anything done, was blocked by the Dems every time, so will probably the same for Larry.

I just want Newsom gone and a message sent to the CA DNC that they need to handle business and deal with the day to day stuff, stop with the far lefty progressive crap and fix the problems right here, right now.

Yeah, because Newsom hasn't already blown a ton of money as it is. Can California really afford to go another 9 months with your A-Hole of a Governor? Or have you gotten so used to smelling pee and stepping in poop from the new homeless neighborhoods that you've accepted this is how California is now?
