Don't be surprised if at some point in the future they do make getting any sort of Government Benefit, including Social Security, contingent on getting the vaccine. As the Government is seeing that when all else fails, threaten to take away people's ability to survive watch them fall into line.
I doubt he would stop then either.

You let this get political for you. Because of that, you're completely dismissive of what people are actually telling you, and of the people, as well.
The pressure excuse is lame. So if they don't think there are risks and it might be effective just because you told me I have to I won't......how old are we?

Nobody's convinced you because you don't want to hear it.

Yep....and the key takeaway (which the OP simply can't understand), in addition to the waning efficacy...

“This virus is not measles – if you have 95 per cent of people vaccinated against measles, the virus cannot transmit in the population,” said Sir Andrew. “But we know very clearly with the coronavirus that the delta variant will still infect people who have been vaccinated, and that does mean that anyone who’s still unvaccinated, at some point, will meet the virus.”

He added that vaccines may slightly slow the transmission process, as there is some evidence that inoculated people are infectious for a shorter period of time, but warned “we don't have anything” which will completely halt the spread of Covid-19.

Does your business have federal contracts? I believe Biden is mandating those also. Your the minority it's obvious there were far less antivaxxers then once thought.

Vaccine will likely keep you out of the ICU as most who are ending up on ventilators are unvaccinated.

Herd immunity is impossible with the measles -- but we just about eradicated it with the use of a vaccine.

That means it should be a choice.

read the article.

Herd immunity “is not a possibility” because the delta variant can spread among vaccinated individuals, according to experts including the director of the Oxford Vaccine Group.

In a parliamentary panel on Tuesday, Professor Sir Andrew Pollard warned that herd immunity is a “mythical” concept and should not inform the design of vaccination programmes in the UK or across the globe.

The problem is the lack of transparency, the inconsistencies, and the outright lies. You don't convince someone that's something is worthwhile when you are being dishonest.

But Kell, just because most in the ICU are unvaccinated doesn't mean that the majority of those who are unvaxxed will end up in the ICU if they get it.

The elderly and those with health issues - yes. The average person? No. I now know more than a dozen people who weren't vaccinated, got Covid, and were fine - some within days and others took a couple of weeks. They weren't hospitalized.

The ones I knew who died, all had health issues and/or were in their 60's.
