A real insurrection is sounding pretty good right now.....'cause we know it's eventually going to come to this if this stuff keeps up.
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? it is maddening and frightening.
Attorney General Merrick Garland - the embodiment of liberal corruption.
The insanity from the Democratic team expands each day, like a toxic mold. Liberals only seem to care for money and absolute power over people's lives. But there is no way all parents of students in the United States can be bullied into submission by the Department of Corruption/DOJ. You do not own the children and you do not control our thoughts, Merrick Garland.
Where's your link to that? I think you're misrepresenting the quote.
It's illegal for the DOJ to investigate threats against teachers or students.
Wow -- you're on another planet. The schools are violating Title VII and the EPC in regard to their interactions with the students, not the parents.
Yes, I read the thread. It sounds like an illegal conspiracy to deprive the parents of their civil rights.
If it's illegal then the parents can file a lawsuit, the DOJ most certainly investigates threats but if you believe that then where is the lawsuit.
This has not one thing to do with Title VII, are the parents rights being violated. They can voice their opinions just not in a threatening manner but keep smacking that head.
How are the parents being deprived of their civil rights, explain.
what do you propose the parents are upset about? too little math? lunch breaks too long?
get real.
The op didn't go far enough in describing who the National School Board Association wants Garland to intimidate. Those nasty anti-vaxxers, anti maskers are also among the 'domestic terrorists.'
The NSBA letter even includes this incident in its catalogue of threats and acts of violence: "Earlier this month, a student in Tennessee was mocked during a board meeting for advocating masks in schools after testifying that his grandmother, who was an educator, died because of COVID-19."
Where are the threats ? Rude ? Sure. Maybe disruptive. But nothing the DOJ has to be involved in.
Another example of this 'domestic terrorism:
"A resident in Alabama, who proclaimed himself as “vaccine police,” has called school administrators while filming himself on Facebook Live."
Maybe that's harassment. If so, local law enforcement handles it.
There's no telling how far Garland will go in new initiave to promote silence among school board critics.i

One thing they're not upset about, according to the link provided by the OP, is Critical Race Theory. Critical Race Theory is mentioned nowhere in that link.
So maybe you can speculate some more without having any concrete information.
You left out the details of what these parents want, specifically.
you didn't ask.
see below for some examples.

parents don't want their kids to be inculcated with the idiocies of CRT, pick-your-gender nuttiness, 1619 project insanity, or all-whites-are-guilty-and-all-'POC'-are-oppressed lunacy, for starters. they also want input in proposed vaccine and mask mandates.

again- what do you think these previous run-ins were about? I just posted a bunch of examples. there have been dozens upon dozens of stories on this very forum.
but go ahead and pretend that it's all about school lunches and dress codes, if that's what you need to do to feel 'safe'
