Dude has no one to blame but himself. All he had to do was not e-mail those things to a third party. E-mails are forever. He should have known tht in 2011
Aren't emails supposed to be PRIVATE?
The fact that our emails are fair game should disturb every decent persom, imo.
No doubt what Gruden wrote in those emails was offensive and wrong, but it bothers me that something he did ELEVEN years ago is now coming to light, and it cost him his job. Sorry, but that's just wrong.
Back then he was an analyst for ESPN, and not even in coaching. Nobody brought it up then, but in today's cancel culture the liberals will destroy you even if it happened 400 years ago.
I would like to know of ONE person that hasn't done or said the wrong thing at some point in time. People should not have their lives ruined from mistakes from way in the past. Of course, the left easily forgives their own, no matter what. Governors and prime ministers do blackface and nobody says a word, but an email from a decade ago will cost you dearly.
I would like to know how the liberal hypocrites justify that.
Gruden is definitely an old school type of guy. I very much enjoyed his broadcast commentary. It'd be unfortunate if he killed that career. Viewpoints have become too much black and white these days, in a manner of speaking.

And yet for 10 years he felt no need to resign yet with his latest musings he does.
