Bezos ships thru the USPS and his prime delivery service has a net cost to him, less than what you can mail a letter for. Let that sink in for a minute. Unlike authorized amazon sellers who have to pay a market rate, the Prime~> stuff ships on average for <58 CENTS.
I am not aware of the USPS complaining it has too much money. In fact, in a week or so it is raising media, first class, and priority postage to try and cover a fraction of the amazon losses.

I must assume that you have forsaken ALL discretionary spending -- yes, ALL, including that latte from Starbucks -- and have directed the funds to charities serving thirsty children in the Third World. I applaud you for your thriftiness and your generosity.

I benefit from my Prime membership in a multitude of ways. Amazon hires a ton of unskilled labor around here. They aren’t a pillar of the community, but they aren’t the debbil, either.
This actually made me really happy today. First that Shatner went up at all. Then that he was 90 years old. Shatner looks really good for 90 years old.
Just the remembrance of Star Trek makes me happy that some where someone remembers the idea of Star Trek... that someday humanity would have evolved for bigger and better things.
And I have to say this was the first time seeing these millionaire rockets and darn, did it not look so much better than NASA.
