Haitian gang releases remaining kidnapped missionaries that included 16 Americans

The 12 remaining hostages kidnapped several months ago by an armed Haitian gang have been released, the country's minister of justice said Thursday.

A group of missionaries, including 16 Americans, representing the Christian Aid Ministries were kidnapped in October by a group of armed men as they were driving through a suburb of Haiti's capital city Port-au-Prince.

Two missionaries were initially released in late November, and then several more were released two weeks later, prior to Thursday's release of the remaining 12. The gang responsible for the kidnappings – 400 Mawozo – initially demanded $1 million per hostage. It is unclear how much, if any, money was paid.

So, good job Joe! Right?

You were more than happy to blame the current admin for the kidnapping, after all.

Brandon didn’t do anything…. The Ministry ended up paying the ransom since Brandon, as always, was asleep at the wheel and didn’t take any decisive actions against these criminals.

So no, Brandon doesn’t get any credit for something he didn’t do… Period.

So - bad thing happens, Biden's fault. Bad thing gets peacefully resolved, Biden had nothing to do with that.

Convenient, and unsurprising, position.

Hostages were all released. That's all we could ask for right?

Last year an American pastor and daughter were kidnapped on December 24th.

As someone pointed out -- Haiti is a dangerous place.

Glad everyone was released.
