On the other hand, Florida is ranked 3 out of 50 states for total deaths (58,608, with the weekly death count due today, if it hasn't been released yet).
Anyway, it is good that Florida, like many states, have seen a decline in daily cases.
But, really, the death and sick numbers could have been much better if only said Governor had implemented some common sense precautions secondary to a world wide pandemic.
Florida is also ranked third out of 50 states for population. So you would expect them to rank third in total deaths.
"Common sense precautions" aren't common-sense if you can do without them and get the same results. If that's the case, "superstitious," "dogmatic," or even "insane " are adjectives I'd use before I used "common-sense."

It's basically average (about 69% fully vaccinated compared to about 67% nationally). What your comment leaves out, and what makes it misleading, is this was also true when infections peaked there in mid-August.
Nothing about Florida's experience suggests the vaccines are making any difference with respect to the spread of the virus.

Miami-Dade was one of the highest vaccinated counties in the USA when our infections went through the roof in mid-August.

Rjshae logic ->
Cases go up, must be due to unvaccinated.
Cases do down, must be due to vaccines.
The way this works is as follows: If COVID deaths and cases are high, it's because DeathSantis is trying to kill people. If COVID deaths and cases are low, it's because Biden is "taking the pandemic seriously" and the vaccine.
