Florida's Governor DeSantis said today that newcomers to the state, are increasingly registering as Republicans, and that Republicans have come a long ways towards closing the gap on registered Democrats in the Sunshine State.
It seems to me that Republicans who lived up North in Dem states are fleeing the high cost of living, high taxes, cold weather, & liberal policies, to move the more highly preferred state of Florida.
Florida's domestic inbound immigration, continues to outpace NY, NJ, IL, CA, & every other large Lib state I looked at.
Or, could it be that these newly registered Florida Republicans were Dems up North, and have now changed to Republican, after seeing decades of destruction under Liberal Regressives back home?
This trend is likely contributing to DeSantis's growing approval ratings, and polling against his challengers in the next election:
Florida may turn Blue some day in the distant future, but it doesn't appear to be anytime soon.
Oh, & DeSantis's covid results have improved big time, & job growth is also strong.
He's also recruiting highly trained law enforcement & firefighting professionals from Regressive states, where they are under-appreciated.
DeSantis is great on the environment too, says the Miami & Orlando Liberal newspapers.
He's increased starting teacher pay by thousands of dollars, but Florida's spending as a % of state GDP remains in the top 10 of al 50 states. Floria's higher education ranks in the top 3 nationwide.
This is what effective leadership looks like.
Liberals need to be very afraid of Ron DeSantis.

Yup. Cali and New York can't chase them off fast enough.
Texas and Florida getting redder...maybe we can take back Virginia...Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan are now purple...sound like a good recipe for Republicans.
And then you got people like me who was a registered democrat when I voted for Trump and DeSantis, and now I am an NPA.

Lets hope these are the good Republicans and not disasters we had like with Nixon and both Bush's.

Virginia...check
New Jersey...stay tuned.
Michigan is up for election in 1 more year, & I'd love to see Whitmer destroyed.
The momentum has shifted away from hard left Liberal Socialists, & toward moderate Dems, Independents, Republicans, and Conservatives. In 2022 and 2024, the final wooden stakes will be driven into the radical socialist liberals hearts, and the blood-sucking vampires will be vaporized.
How many times does this have to be said. Florida does not have open primaries. If you live in a red area, it makes absolutely no sense to register D because you’re not going to have any say in most of the elections. It doesn’t matter so much how one registers, but how one votes.

NJ is not remotely even purple. Its just not completely hopeless for the GOP.
All we need are a few solid red states and even if the federal government goes completely blue they'll have a very hard time accomplishing a radical agenda and getting all the states to fall in line with it, so take comfort in that. Executive order power is where they try to play dictator but really laws only matter if people follow them and law enforcement enforce them.
Mostly they'll keep spending our money until they destroy the currency.

please take Florida build a wall around it to keep "lib's" out, and don't forget to close the door behind you

Michigan has been "purple" for a long time.
Since 1976 Presidential election, it's gone to the GOP 5 times and the Dems 7 times.
The US Senators from MI have been overwhelmingly Dem since 1984.
House of Reps are leaning GOP since 2002.
The Governorship has been 7 GOP and 5 Dem since 1974.

No need. DeSantis is a big meanie and really scary. They stay out on their own.
