What has happened to Democrats? How has their perspective become so warped?
Democrats have made it clear they think rioting, burning, looting and assaulting are good things, while they think self defense against such things is evil white supremacy. Just look at all the comments from leading Democrat politicians, CNN and MSNBC. It's right there for all to see. They don't even try to hide it.
Democrats hold up child rapists, domestic assaulters, drug users, child sex traffickers and general pedophiles as heroes, quality citizens, while they demonize law abiding common sense individuals. They call concerned PTA Moms domestic terrorists and sick the FBI on them.
Democrats are in a full-court press to shut down speech they don't like and lock up people who use their brains. Just look at all the social media companies who shut down speech about what the evidence actually showed in the K.R. case.
What the hell has happened to Democrats? There was a time when Democrats stood for the right things for the most part. What is going on with them? How did they drop down so low they would have to look up to see the gutter?
The party has been taken over by deranged Marxist lunatics and the normal Democrats are allowing it to happen. Everyone is so afraid to speak out against them because no one wants retaliation and/or cancellation.
There will come a time, and that time is approaching quickly, that Americans will need to rise up against the oppressors, the thugs, the gangs, the cancel culture and the Marxist media.

The Dems have allowed the Socialist wing of their party to dictate policy. If the party doesn't give the Socialists what they want, then the Socialists won't vote for the Dems, and therefore the Republicans would win since there aren't enough moderate Dems to defeat the Republicans.
Some of the moderate Dems have apparently decided that it's better to be Socialist than to be governed by the Republicans. However, there are clear signs now (Virginia's governor's race for example) that many of the moderate Dems will vote Republican rather than support the Socialist agenda that the Democrat party is promoting.
I think a lot of Democrats believe the lies on CNN where Rosenbaum and Huber were called "activists". They were not. They were criminals who showed up at BLM protests to commit crime.
It really looks like Democrats are out to destroy America. The build "back" in Build Back Better means the country has to be destroyed first. Otherwise it'd be called Build On Greater.

It's like drug addiction. Once you start going down the abyss, you get pulled down deeper and deeper.
It is difficult to crawl your way out of it unless you exert some massive effort.
My parents were life long democrats.....if they were alive today....they would be Republicans.
I voted straight Democrat for almost 30 years until 2020. I probably won't vote for another Democrat for a while. The deranged racialist policies need to stop. The envious greed crazed class warfare needs to stop.
Combine this with republican complacency and lack of balls, and you have the simple fact that progressives have hijacked many institutions, and they are receiving their orders from above. The party has been hijacked by radicals. By illiberals. I sense tea party 2.0 has already began at the grass roots level though, so as individuals maybe we can get done what the Republicans can never seem to do, half of them being more worried about their gravy train and remaining career politicians than representing their constituents. We need more of them like Florida's governor....vocal and aggressive....fight as hard as the left does.

Not at all. Their perspective is that White people are bad and evil no matter what.
POC are doing things out of oppressed feelings because of the racist rules/attitudes of White people who have ruled over them since America was first founded.
And now it's payback time. White people are barely tolerated only because they send in money to DC every April
