I'd bet Trump feels that way as well, and he should have told whoever asked that he wasn't going to release them, and then let the chips fall where they may politically.


But Trump is too much of a coward to do that. He didn't want to lose any votes from people who would be PO'd re not releasing the returns, so he lied.


IMO, whatever bother or consternation the current situation may be causing him.....he deserves that bother/consternation because he lied.
