I have to ask. DO people actually feel better when History is erased? Do they beam with pride after a statue comes down? A statue of "some guy on a horse" who they never knew was racist until someone told them that they were being oppressed by it? Do people really feel better when a sports team is renamed or in this case a military patch is redesigned?
Who exactly is offended by these things and would it be so wrong to tell them to toughen up and get on with it? The past is the past and it is what you can do in the future that matters. If something is connected to the Civil war then make it better today don't just throw it into the dumpster.
The problem is our elected have a bad case of white guilt and they are going above and beyond to appease a fraction of our populace that probably don't even care.
It's sickening that the woke liberal cowards that have never served a day in the military, or would ever think about serving this country, are making demands for something they deem offensive.
Somebody just has to stand up and say no. Not "sorry". Just no. The cancel culture has done enough damage already. If they don't like it, too bad. Cry us a f'n river and just go away.
Just put that one sentence in US History books. No names, places or dates so we don't offend anyone.
The less people know the better.....
