Just because West Virginia (WV) voted Trump in 2020 and "isn't pro-Biden," doesn't mean Build Back Better (BBB) itself isn't popular in WV. You obviously didn't take what another poster said about West Virginians actually had to say about BBB. Many of the people in WV may need BBB but are too damn foolish to know any better beyond partisan views of "Democrats, bad. Republicans, good."
That said it seems Manchin is against BBB for his own selfish reasons. {snip}
No, he's listening to his people who say they do not want the damned bill passed. Only 32% in WV want the bill passed. Manchin should switch his party affiliation to an Independent and caucus’s with the Republicans.
Today’s Progressive Democrats have NOTHING in common with the people of West Virginia and honestly, most of America cuz Biden now has less than 29% of the Independent American voters supporting him and his agendas.
