And this goes for the media, the supposed “Guardians” of our Democracy, as well as big tech AGAIN CONTROLS the message and the equal, unbiased flow of information.
To the point where the media and big tech totally AND completely controlled the flow of all factual information to the American people… To the point of supporting AND spreading false information, while presenting this false information as the truth, while completely suppressing any AND all information that would have caused their choice of candidate from winning.
As for Facebook, Twitter and other social media sources, these outlets shouldn’t be allowed to censor or lock-out any candidate or their message…. While allowing the Iranian Ayatollahs or the Taliban terrorists free and uncensored access to the same sites.
And this doesn’t matter if the person(s) running for office is from the Left or Right. Today, the Left completely controls the flow of information TODAY, but that can change at some point where the Right controls the messaging TOMORROW.
Can our Democracy be saved? Yes, but it will take some work from ALL us to protect our Democracy and our Republic, both today and for tomorrow.
If agree with this article. The GOP, under Trump, has become an authoritarian party - one not willing to abide by majority rule if it contradicts its whims. Since this is America, where traditionally the parties switch power pretty regularly, sooner or later the GOP will be in power again. This will happen sooner rather than later probably. When it does, democracy as we know it will be over in America.

BLM and Antifa didn't even bother to storm city halls, let alone the US Capitol and least of all to prevent certification of a major election. Overturning an election is a MUCH more serious matter than having hundreds of millions of dollars worth of property burn (especially if the insurance companies will cover it). Seriously, would you rather have a lot of businesses burn down or lose your right to a meaningful vote?
These "handful" of wackos are indeed far right. Look up Umberto Eco's Fourteen Points of Fascism. They qualify for most of those points. Besides, if the military and law enforcement aren't physicially stopping them to the extent that they stop ANTIFA and BLM, then it's fair to say there a bias favoring the Right Wing.
Also, if it had been BLM and ANTIFA marching on the Capitol if a Republican became president, they're would have been blood on the streets - with little to none on even the bottom steps of the Capitol. Not to mention armored personnel carriers spewing tear gas and live ammo.

Take my county it has 24k people. I would say AT LEAST 15-18k of those own guns. MAYBE 5k would actually take up arms....I am not much of a people person, I don't make friends real easy, I am too busy working on college and raising my kids and running a small business, I think MAYBE nationwide you might get 1 million people to take up arms but who knows, I could be wrong. I think the VAST majority of people are armchair warriors who talk a lot but have WAY too much too lose to even really think about taking up arms, for most as long as they have food on the table, AC to keep them cold and Heat to keep them cool, they won't do anything. I have all of that but I am just made differently, I don't see that I have a lot to lose so. Will I start something? No. Would I join an army taking our nation back? Certainly would love to.
