Thanks.

I had to go read up on when Benjamin became and abolitionist. He didn't free his until his death. But he did not seek the return when the one who escaped was captured.

Social media sucks. Once upon a time, this would be a non-issue because it wouldn't go far beyond the immediate family one way or another. Now, everything becomes a big deal because it is posted on Social media. What a disaster Social media is. What a horror.
Exactly. Nowadays, most of the times, you don't dare to use the words white and black or black and white. For an example, in the "old" day, people used say "I need this typed in black and white on paper", which meant for a clear instruction or contract. But now you don't dare to say that. You just have to stay away from those two words.

Yes, probably the grandson would say his grandma tried to impose the whiteness on his wife, and both of them might not like that.

What might be good gifts? Diamond and gold earrings, necklaces or bracelets, watches - no black and white. LOL

Yep.

And that's what the disrespectful grandson should have been focusing upon.

He sounds like the type that would parade around his virtue signaling as in "look at me I'm not a racist, I'm married to a black woman".

It is getting tough to keep up with these SJW types. Are we supposed to ignore the blackness of black people or are we supposed to celebrate them and lift them up for being black?

It sounds like Grandma doesn't have a problem with her step granddaughter and gave her the gift because she likes her and approves of the love she has given he grandson.

There are some people you just can't help and this Ken is one of them.
The grandson's wife is the grandma's granddaughter-in-law, not her step granddaughter.
