DeSantis would not have flouished without the space Trump created for everyone else. By pushing the envelope so far it makes everyone else look like they're still in the Overton Window. While the press was going after Trump DeSantis had a chance to push further
perhaps but trump couldn't even win a debate vs. a husk of a human being. He can barely finish a sentence or statement about talking about how great he and his ego are. frankly I'm suck of trump and wouldn't be happy to never hear from him again.

Contrary to the distorted scenario, the above poster portrays, Trump's violent seditionist soldiers were swept out of the United States Capitol by the Capitol Police and the D.C. Police, who fought all afternoon to be able to declare the interior area safe and enemy free a bit before 6 P.M.
Five hours after the attack began the police cleared the sacred halls and vandalized offices and defiled chambers of the Capitol buildings. Later, after 6, they eventually secured the outside grounds. The 12 hour curfew was imposed on the entire District of Columbia by Mayor Bowser during the height of the attack & battle---and the depiction of the insurrectionists' expulsion as a cooperating horde of lawbreakers and thugs filing out tranquilly at a closing time is farcical.
To this day Trump allegiant folks are still linguistically warping the details of the January 6 attack on the United States in an attempt to distract the attention of American allegiant folks... and to denigrate any examination of the events leading up to, during and after that horrifying day.
The above tall tale which claims the traitorous Trump troops ---who were armed with stun guns, pepper spray, baseball bats, iron pipes and clubs, to name only some of the weapons---left the Capitol peacefully of their own accord is one such dishonest diversionary attempt.
