75 to 80% of them are retired or in nursing homes. In the end we are mortal and people get on with their lives. Covid will not affect young people's ability to have kids and continue growing the world population in any way, shape, or form.
Plus in a communist society a lot of people can disappear and nobody even knows about it because they simply get erased from existence. The only people who know are the people who knew the person and those people aren't going to talk when big brother has their tele screen installed and can monitor everything you do on your social media accounts.
Yes that disappearance is what bothers me. I wonder, if they are not allowed to talk about it, are they allowed to bury the dead? Does the government take the bodies? Are the relatives expected to pretend those who died are still alive? Do people in China have burials and graves? Do they mourn the dead or it is just out of sight out of mind?
Too much of a joke to even waste the minutes watching them. It's like taking Fox news as real "news" instead of a series of right wing opinion programs.........
China has a whole lot of other ailments to deal with. China pollutes the environment more than U.S does. Their nuclear power plant in China emits toxic waste chemicals into the environment that has long lasting consequences. Say like a chemical element like lead, gets into the environment. And they use this lead for something else in a compound. The waste product from this other compound formation has a dangerous half life. And poisonous. At 30 years of half life, that would take 30 years being in contact with the environment before it gets 1/2 toxic. Toxic is just toxic. And it kills a person just to be in contact with these waste materials. China has a lot of these waste materials in the environment. Cancer patients in China is high. Also deaths from it.
If this was intentional, they wouldn't have released it in their own country.
I do think it was a lab leak.
