a lying prog from the state of homelessness said something?
you really think that means something?
PS California is so awesome Uhaul cant get equipment returned to Cali. people are moving so fast its breaking them.
The spread of liberalism is happening again, like how the liberal Californians changed NV, OR, WA now they will do it to FL and TX. Yes they may not be the super far left, but most leaving still believe in more than one gender, you can change gender, immigration is good(legal immigration, mass legal immigration please), and women are strong.
you know....is Newson that stupid...yes, yes he is
"Remember "TX & FL have done nearly as well as CA while staying 'open' " narrative? Let's look:
CA deaths/100K=194
TX deaths/100K=262
FL deaths/100K=291
Dead Texans who'd be alive if TX matched CA death rate:19,741
Dead Floridians...:20,827
To me, "nearly as well" ≠40,000 lives."
19,741 + 20,827 = 40,568
More fear-mongering with no context.
If you convert those to percentage
CA Deaths = 0.19%
TX Deaths = 0.26%
FL Deaths = 0.29%
So you are using numbers that account for a difference of 0.1%
With absolutely no context as to the demographics or the health of the people that died you have just declared by your "math" that had TX or FL did what CA did all of those people would be alive.
Please show one study or report that found if FL or TX had done exactly what CA has done that those people would now be alive. Show one study or report that would show if CA did what FL or TX did that there would be that many more deaths.
I know a ton of people who have moved, are planning to move, or are talking about moving to Florida. Alternatively, I know of no one planning to move to California. The friends I have that moved there won't leave because they own property and are very wealthy now, but that ship has sailed long ago. California is not a beacon of hope and prosperity that liberals imagine it is. And there is absolutely nothing the governor or anyone there can do about it, because the people would never support policies that would actually reduce crime, reduce homelessness, reduce drug addiction, etc. California is a dumpster fire, and only illegals are willing to struggle for it.
Florida death rate: 2,937 deaths per million California death rate: 1,969 deaths per million
Neither figure is good to look at but I'm curious about the ages of those people. I haven't checked it because it doesn't matter to me what age a person is that dies; only that they did. However, if the number of deaths in Florida occurred to older Americans, it would stand to reason since 70% of the deaths in the entire U.S. happened to those over 65 years of age and Florida does have more older Americans than California ... doesn't it?
Newsom is a know it all Karen who isn't aware that his own "kids" have stopped listening to him.
Go to LA and see for yourself how many restaurants are really looking at vaccine passports (they aren't).
Go to San Francisco and see for yourself how careful the homeless people on the city sidewalks are to mask up and stay socially distanced from one another other. The only time they mask up is when they go looting the neighborhood stores.
His approach is a lesson on what NOT to do.
