The peculiar argument for restricting (including masking) the Covid not-at-risk is that they may possibly infect more vulnerable folks. This novel argument, of course, applies to the vaccinated and unvaccinated since all folks can be infected and theoretically spread Covid.

[We'll put aside the obvious rejoinder that humans do breathe so this is theoretically true with all respiratory viruses including - but not limited to - the flu.]

CDC recommends universal indoor masking in ECE programs for those ages 2 years and older, regardless of vaccination status.

You'd think masking up the little faces would give a few maskers pause regarding their peculiar argument. Thus far, not so much. As a matter of fact, they may be eyeballing the one-year-olds (who also, it must be pointed out, breathe).

Adults torturing innocent kids with inoculations and masks is more than shameful, it’s child abuse. Americans who push this on their kids are suffering from mass psychosis. They’re enemies of the children.
Never in my life did I expect people to act so stupidly.

Children especially those around two years old only know their natural environment. They don’t understand a mask being plastered on their face. It is indeed child abuse. The left knows this and they don’t care. It’s about total and absolute control over your life. Even to the point of demanding and telling you how to raise your own children. They will stop at nothing. And to tell you start fighting fire with fire you’re going to lose. These people are sick! They’re pushing people too far.

Masking little kids is wrong. I am very surprised at how easily the older generations have thrown the younger generation under the bus and tried to use them as shields to attempt make things a little bit safer for themselves.

Not if they have any say.

No wonder folks have tuned out the CDC.

Normalizing child abuse is not the way to build credibility.

This is what happens when you grow the size of government beyond its usefulness.

99% of bureaucrats have more solutions than they have problems to solve, and 99% of those solutions are for "problems" that don't actually exist.

CDC Says to Mask the Little 2-Year-Olds: A Bit Much for the Maskers?

Nothing is too much for the maskers... they literally cheered when an autistic 4 year-old was kicked off a flight for not wearing a mask.

if they provided some data that showed it to be useful, that would be one thing. Surely, if either children or caregivers were contracting Covid in the daycare/preschool or worse, dying, we would have heard about it by now all over the MSM.

The reality is in the WORST week of Covid mortality - which happens to have been > 12 months ago (1/2/21) there were a total of 27 deaths of children 0-17 (6 under 5).

As of the last "verified" report (12/18, and they've dropped even since):

5 total pediatric deaths, none under 11
